WogBoy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Malaysian GP on TV in Australia

Does anyone know if the Malaysian GP will be live on Channel 10 in Australia?

I know the Clipsal 500 will be on, but im hoping they have scheduled the layout so they can show the F1 live also.

Regards

They may have.....but i really doubt it.

Last year they had the events on the same day, but they had Clipsal 500 all day, then after the news and the movie, they had the delayed race....no qualifying of course.

But more recently, they had Bathurst and the Japanese GP on the same day, and they finished the Bathurst telecast at about 4:15, and went straight to the Japanese GP, delaying the news.

My prediction is that they will have the GP on late at night.

One other thing i am wondering is if they will have Neil Crompton and Bill Woods commentating for that GP, and the rest of them.

I'm sure they'd have (the excellent) Martin Brundle and Mr Startline Sound Effects Allen (damn).

The Clipsal 500 is scheduled to finish at 5pm so I can't see them moving the News for that.

They'll probably do what Channel 9 did for the Malaysian event, show it a few hours delayed after the movie.

And once a year is enough for Bill Woods, lets hope it's ITV for the rest of the year.

It would be a disaster if the channel ten fools did the commentry. Crompton has to comment on every bit of vision, no matter how insignificant. And it may just be me, but does he wear red underwear under his uniform.

Channel 10 did it for Oz only last year and then it was ITV, which is awesome. The Aussie commentators are pretty poor, I regret aying this but the trio of Eddie McGuire, Alan Jones and Daryll Eastlake were a lot better than Woods and Crompton.

I happened to notice on the RPM Live site that the Spanish GP will be shown 3pm till 4pm on the 9th of May!!! What's with that?
