Driver's under stewards review as well as Rosberg are Perez, Gutierrez, Maldonado and Kvyat (all for impeding) and of course Ericsson, for trying to join his car with Massa's

That incident was not Ericsson's fault. Massa should have pulled over more and not turned in so quickly. He had the room.
I see it as 80% Massa's fault.

Not sure about Ricciardo wining, but the tension has been building to a boil between LewLew and Nico. I think Monaco is where it comes to a head and believe it will end in tears for both as well. I say it happens at Nouvelle, lap 2.

Seeing Nico's "off" again just now, in my mind, that was totally on purpose, but how would he have known to do that? And I don't know how the FIA proves that it was and punishes him for it. Lewis will do his best to punish him.

As much as I dislike both, this is the most interesting aspect of F1 this year. Hope it continues.

I disagree 321Go. Yes, Massa could have gone closer to the outside barrier, but there was still enough room on the inside. Ericsson just seems to lose the back end in braking, forcing him to correct and slide wide. Nothing he could really do about it in my opinion.

Rosberg and Mercedes officials have just been summoned to the stewards room.

Oh boy, just imagine if Rosberg is penalised for unsafe re-entry! And loses his pole position!?

Did Rosberg deliberatly mess Hamiltons lap?

I think yes
Because having made a mistake he would have pulled up at the end of the run off and parked the car.
Not reversing back on to the track thus keeping the yellow flags out.

Massa left Ericsson with enough room to get by and I was quite surprised when Ericsson ran into Massa.

Ericsson was on a fast lap, Massa was slowing. And Massa's car was still half on the race line into the corner. Massa did not leave enough room, and the on board shot of Massa shows he's already turning into the corner before Ericsson had passed! I stand by my opinion. Massa has to take the major portion of the blame.

The Rosberg investigation is about to begin, but Rosberg cannot make the stewards inquiry as he has a previous appointment that he has to keep. So it will be just Mercedes rep's at the investigation.

I didn't see it that way and at the time, I thought Ericsson looked a little out of control.

BTW, Vettel, Ricciardo and Kvyat are all now on their third PU for the season. A maximum of five for the year allowed, and we're only into the sixth of nineteen rounds!

The stewards did not agree with me either. Ericsson gets 2 points on his licence and has to start from Pitlane. He qualified in last spot so no biggie anyway.

That will be messed up grids if it goes on like that, what's the penalty anyway for using more then the allowed ones?

If a driver was to use more than five of any one of the six separate elements that make up the PU, the penalties applied will be as follows:
  • The first time a 6th of any of the elements is used = Ten grid place penalty.
  • The first time a 6th of any of the remaining elements is used = Five grid place penalty.
  • The first time a 7th of any of the elements is used = Ten grid place penalty.
  • The first time a 7th of any of the remaining elements is used, and so on = Five grid place penalty.

Given their grid positions the units being replaced can hardly be called broken; presumably they can be re-installed later in the season?

According to 2014 FIA Sporting Regulations Article 28.4 (g):

g) If a power unit or any of the six components within it are changed in accordance with Article 34.2 the power unit components which were replaced may not be used again during any future qualifying session or race with the exception of the last Event of the Championship.

The Stewards have just ruled no further action regarding Rosberg. He keeps his pole position.
