F J Nedos should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
There were various reports of shenanigans from Team Piscatori-Medico from the Symmons Plains round. They included:
  • The Team Piscatori-Medico sporting director discovered that it is a fruiteless exercise running a 888 chassis and an HRT chassis;
  • Russell Ingall was told by the Team Piscatori-Medico sponsorship manager to distribute sponsor products to various team members and grid girls. It was later discovered that he had given mechanics some Canesten, grid girls a Daiwa fishing reel, and the team truck driver somy Hydrozole.
The word from the sponsorship manager was:
  • The truck driver loves his fishing and wanted to do some in the tassie highland lakes. Give him something useful from one of our sponsors;
  • The mechanics have been getting a rash on their feet due to working in wet conditions experienced in recent times. Give them something from our sponsors products to help - the product name starts with H
  • No one wanted their photo taken with our grid girls on Saturday. Give them some of our sponsor products - you know which one i am talking about...

With all the confusion and resulting declining performances of the grid girls, truck driver and mechanics, team management has elected to relieve Russell Ingall of his duties effective immediately. Doing this has also released the team of running two different chassis.

Team management is pleased to announce that we can now share data between the two cars, as Jonathon Webb has decided to fill the void left by the sudden departure of Mr Ingall. Mr webb was excited by the move, saying "I cant wait to share data with the series champion and get my hands dirty with the Roland Dane Mahogany Cabinet award winners from last year. I already know who would like fishing reels, who needs hydrozole and who needs canesten."

The team look forward to a better performance all round in NZ.

Driver TBA should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
After much soul searching. TBA Racing have decided to take the Enforcer out in the backyard, tie him to the clothesline and call the vet... Sorry Russell, but it's time.

As for Jamie Whincup, his high salary is hampering the teams ability to hire a 2nd gun. So much to Jamie's disgust he has been given his marching orders. Sorry Jamie, but you'll have to concentrate on your 30 other drives in the 10 tenths fantasy championship!

As TBA racing are trail blaziers in their thinking and not ones to get caught up in current fads or results. They have decided to think outside the box and hire Will Davison and Tim Slade.

So...

OUT
Jamie Whincup
Russell Ingall

IN
Will Davision ($1,100,000)
Tim Slade ($800,000)

We plan on using the spare $100,000 on a nice memorial service and plaque for Russell. Or a nice tree?

After a very disappointing start to Cooper Team Racings 2nd season team principle Joey has finally run out of patience & sacked both of his drivers immediately. The new members of the team are:

# 2 Will Davidson (1.1m)
# 31 Fabian Coulthard (0.8m)

Both drivers are excited to join their new team & hope to bring the team back to the top of the championship.

Surprised there haven't been more takers this year

Anyway, L&P World Famous Racing will be giving their regular drivers a well-earned extended holiday after hauling the team back into the top ten in the championship. For the two upcoming enduros, the glorious brown and gold will be worn by the fiery David Besnard, the streamlined Dean Canto, foreign correspondent Christian Klien, and obligatory Kiwi Scott McLaughlin.

Two down, one to go.
With crushing victories at Sandown and Bathurst, L&P World Famous Racing now have their sights set on an enduro clean sweep. To propel the mighty brown & golds over the line the team has brought in former F1 ace Nick Heidfeld to partner regulars Fabina Coulthard, Tim Slade, and Michael Patrizi for the GC600.
