Some pics taken from top of pit 'control tower'. All buildings built in Spanish style with viewing from roof and cafeteria. Free wi-fi in all garages and elsewhere. (Also at Portimao in some places- Other tracks take note!!)
Having expected to be entering two 25 min 'sprints', big thanks to Iain, Nick, Jim, Jackie and Martin for their help with 2 hour GD- especially with pit board- despite also being in it! Looking across paddock to back of circuit with the several different layout options. Note no spectator facilities- The long straight- just under 1km- and narrow pit lane. Entrance before last corner but very tight bend and if not slow enough you would finish up back on circuit. Pit exit has 'don't cross' line almost all way to first corner. And finally team engineer re-mapping Morgan ECU - or could be Nick logging onto Tenths for Iain while waiting for morning tea..... |
