March 782 F2 Dampers & Calipers (model numbers please)
G'day forum,
We're restoring a March 782 Formula 2 single seater and require new (or refurbished) dampers and calipers. 1. DAMPERS - The rear dampers currently fitted are alloy-bodied Koni 8212-1093B1's. Is there a modern replacement for this unit or does anyone know where I can locate some? 2. CALIPERS - The car is currently missing it's rear calipers (lost in transit!) although a sister car is fitted with AP Lockheed CP2385's. I am told that these are the incorrect calipers and the car should be fitted with "lug mounted" calipers. With this in mind, can someone let me know what the car should be fitted with and whether there's a modern replacement? I have attached photos to assist. Thanks in advance. Matt |

I had some AP CP2361 calipers and was told they came from a 70s March.

Matt if you PM me i can give you Chris Alfords no. He's an F2 guru. Try Simon Hadfield as well.

I've already dropped Simon a note but never thought to approach Chris Alford (thanks for the tip). Please PM me his number and give him a bell. Many thanks Matt.
