andy robinson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
RWD tracking

Ive only every raced FWD before, my new car is RWD, 1350 kgs & runs on 295 17"
For FWD I would set the tracking with a little toe out, ie 20 minutes
Who runs what on RWD ?
cheers andy

Parallel front and rear (not that I have a choice on the rear!).

In the past I have added a bit of toe out to improve turn in but then fixed the problem properly with sperical bearings/springs/dampers/camber/castor and then gone back to parallel.

I think that you will find that toe out on the rear is a no no. The only reason that I can see for toe out is if the car has some inherent handling fault that can't be rectified by normal settings.

Ex-Supercar?
If si I am guessing it will have a live axle with fully adjustable camber and toe through outboard CV's. The question I have for you is why do something that hasn't been done before, you may end up in a different place, but I think you should start where the proferssionals run.
And I promise it will not be rear toe out, more likely slight toe in at the rear and toe out at the front

OK it looks like I misread it. Within reason you can set it either in or out as long as you don't stray too far from parallel. It should turn in better with toe out at the front but you may have to compromise on tyre wear.
But as most people will tell you RWD normally toes in at the front.

Front: 40min toe out, neg camber depending on tyres. 17" boots on Aussie Supercars often run with 5deg of neg static, and a shedload of caster.

Rear: 10min toe in, and depending on the tyres, 1deg to 3deg neg camber for radials, no camber for crossplys.

I can see one thing wrong with it though.

It's a Ford Falcon, not a Holden Commodore!!

Enjoy!!

(if you've never driven a "properly set up" RWD car, you might be better running the rear parallel until you have got used to it as toe in can make it a little lively - a bit like putting toe out on the outside rear of a FWD car)
