With apologies for the delay, here are the results from the opening event of the 2021 fantasy competition.

From these the fantasy points were calculated




The winner of the first event of the season was Wolf GP with 88 points, second was Frogspawn Racing with 86 points and in third, the reigning fantasy champ SuperChilliF1 with 81 points.



The overall is unsurprisingly the same



The next event is at Imola check local times, entries are of course still welcome and must be in place before the start of FP of an event to be included.
Remember to check your local timings for the start of FP1.

Can you remind me SBF how a driver scores minus points? I can see reference in the rules to constructor and power unit supplier penalties, but I just can't see driver penalties? Is it something to do with positional points?

Yes, the +/- column is the difference between the official start grid position and the offal race result position.

So a poor qualifier can get effectively a bonus point per position for climbing through the field, in addition to their finish points.
Likewise if someone doesn’t hold their qualification position and slips down the field, whether by incident, or just overtaken in the race, the lose a point per position.

Grid penalties and their penalty points are shown in the excel table in the first post on the launch page.


As it’s predominantly the same team principals and for the most part the same rules, I have become lazy and just added same as last season, not allowing for new entrants who won’t be aware of the details, my fault and I apologise.
