Rally cars at Lydden
A class for rally cars has been added to the Dec.27th rallycross meeting. They will be racing together, not against the rallycross cars though. If any drivers are interested please get in touch with BARC south east centre.

Well, as the combined Haymarket press managed to "forget" to print our request to mention the rally car class, we only had two replies. So, sadly, the idea has been shelved which is a great pity. The entry is now 40 which is a bit better than the recent Croft event, but it is disappointing after so many drivers said they would support it, but at least it gives some new names a chance to shine e.g. Dave Mountain in the Ford Ka ? and perhaps some of the hot rod drivers.

It's a shame about the rally cars but it will still be a good meeting. Lets hope the weather is kind and the public turn out is good. Happy Christmas all.

The meeting should be good even without the rally cars (although it would have been nice to see a few of them in action around Lydden). If it's anything like previous winter meetings at Lydden it'll be bloody freezing!
