pablocomics should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
If Dome is able to construct a LMP2 into the maximun price ratio, I think that we'll see one or 2 running on WEC or ELMS, because ACO loves variety and it's a way to warranty your presence in the 24 hours of Le Mans.

...but I'm not that optimistic with the LMP1 version, IMO (I hope to be wrong)

Autosport magazine says that Dome has received many inquiries about LMP2.
So we can see Dome LMP2 in 2014.

Judging from the roof shape of Porsche LMP1,
the "handgrip" of the roof of Dome S103 is a dummy roof for avoiding height regulation of cabin.

I think DOME should get some interest in LMP1 as well. Rebellion are no longer a customer team and Lola are dead...so really, DOME offers the best independent chassis. As Sam Collins says, you need an engine, but that's an issue for all the privateers anyway.

Remember this a team that has always produced cars of impressive pace. Even last year, they entered a car that had been collecting dust for 4 years, modified it rather crudely for new technical regulations, fitted a dodgy engine in the back and had it run by a team on the brink of bankruptcy and the thing was still as quick as an OAK Pescarolo and the HPDs.

Private team owners will do well to remember that.

Too bad Jan Lammers is getting on a bit in years, and getting the budget together in the Netherlands is near impossible. Although I liked the chessboard livery of the Racing For Holland cars a lot, the reasoning behind it was very sad indeed. But hopefully some other top private team takes over running a Dome.

By the way things are looking right now, in 2014, there will be only P2 version´s of DOME, unless they find a decent engine and run themselves like in other year´s.!!!!!!!!

A small but key bit of info from E-I.

Due to interest in the P2 chassis Dome have opted to develop that first ahead of work on the P1.

Dyson said they were looking at a P2 program again, without mentioning any manufacturer. A P2 Dome Mazda might fit the bill.

Dome says that it will release the S103 photos in the stage which wind tunnel testing ended.

Good news for Dome it would seem. According to an interview of Hiroshi Fushida by Laurent Mercier (endurance-info.com), Dome have received firm orders by two teams willing to run their new S103 LMP2 racer in the 2014 WEC season.

Probably a Nissan engine in at least one of those Domes. Dome-Nissan P2 sounds good, Dome-Nissan P1 sounds better. Maybe if we give it some time...
