Someone looked up and held the clutch to keep the car running, the rest are all dead stick. He was let through but didn't catch the number

IndyCar needs to change the rules. The drivers can't be trusted to behave themselves, especially at a track like this. That last straight and corner before the line is just begging to trigger a mess (like we have seen twice now).
Have them maintain pace lap speed until they get close to the line and DO NOT allow them to go until the starter shows the green flag. Problem solved. |

Tux, it's the luck of the draw. It's entirely possible to have blockages at key points at Long Beach, Toronto, and elsewhere. There's not a street circuit you can name that's been around any particular length of time that hasn't had a jam-up.
Heck, how many times has NASCAR jammed up a track, including Sonoma and Watkins Glen, where they've had 80-100+ ft of width of space to work with? |

Indy officials COMPLETELY screwed the pooch, Power gets away with zero penalty for completely destroying the race
Especially as Ed Jones got avoidable contact penalty for his incident. No consistency at all |
