As there are two in the WEC this year for D'Station and Heart Of Racing, we should see at least those two, and who knows with the selection committee on any other entries!

62 entry spots in total

no Garage 56 project announced for this year so far (unless I'm mistaken)

WEC full season entry = 37

+ 11 auto invites (see https://www.dailysportscar.com/2024/...es-finale.html)

leaves 14 spots

of which a max. of 10 will be additional LMP2 entries (as it was announced there will be 15 entry spots reserved for that category).

APR Crowdstrike/George Kurtz (in LMP2) and Pure Rxcing (in LMGT3) have 3 auto invites, it remains to be seen if both of them take up all 3 (if not, it's likely to open up additional non LMP2 entry spots, probably HY).

This leaves 4-6 additional non WEC, non-auto-invite entries up for grabs. Porsche, Cadillac and Lamborghini have publicly stated their intentions to enter additional cars in HY, so that would leave 1-3 spots for LMGT3s.

I'm glad I like puzzles!

In addition: Proton has also expressed their desire to run a second Porsche 963 in HY, which potentially could fill the last available spot. Alternatively, the team could opt for (or be awarded) a LMP2 entry besides their already locked in single HY entry plus a pair of LMGT3 Mustangs, courtesy of all three being full season WEC entries.

Any chance for a 3rd Toyota?
2 Caddies are secured....I do hope for a 3rd one....
I do see a realistic chance for 25-26 HY

But will it go to another LMP2 entrant or is the lure from the big bug spending manufacturers for an additional HY entry too much for the ACO?

Guess we'll find out tomorrow!

23 Hypercars and 23 GTs is awesome. Shame about the abundance of flatulent Ferraris. But 3 Caddys, 3 Mustangs and 2 Lexuseses will make up for it somewhat.
