Gaffer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Zandvoort

I am hoping to get along to the Marlboro Masters at Zandvoort this August. I have checked the official website www.circuit-zandvoort.nl and it does give a list of what I believe to be the drivers taking part, but can anyone give final confirmation of this as my Dutch is not good. Is Robbie racing? What about James? Any info would be apreciated.

I can translate some things, if you want,

'Deelnemers' = drivers entry list. These are the drivers who are going to try to qualify (there 's a maximum number of drivers who can take part of the race)

I believe Kerr, Manor, Fortec and Carlin - minus Courtney - are racing in the Masters.

Courtney won't have recovered in time after his Jaguar F1 test shunt at Monza but should be back for the following weekend's UK championship rounds at Oulton.

'Twould be a giant shame if James's season is ruined by a testing accident that was absolutely not his fault. It's bad enough he is missing Zandvoort.

Very true - However even in Robbie takes both OP races James could still win the title he will just have to fight for it.

Which is of course good for the series!

If James isn't at OP will Derek Hayes be in his car again or has that not been decided yet?

It appears as though Gary Paffett isn't going to be competing at Zandvoort

Good mix of F3 drivers. Should be another British series win.

Trevor Carlin said “Whilst missing this round will make it harder to win the Championship, James’ well-being obviously comes first. He will be back in the car for the next race at Oulton and we will pick it up from there. Derek Hayes has stepped in to drive the car this weekend so we still have four drivers able to take Championship points.
Wonder if that's a statement about the British F3 championship only or that Trevor means he won't be back in any car before Oulton.

The quote is dated July 19, the entry list July 22. So we'll just have to wait

There is a report in todays Autosport, which says Courtney may have to miss the Masters. Which would be sad.

Well missing the Masters isn't going to hurt Courtney's Championship hopes, so if missing that means he can be back at Oulton Park, then that has to be his priority.

Don't forget the tyres... People at Zandvoort will use Kuhmo tyres, the same that are used in the French F3 Championship, whereas the British are using Avon tyres and the Germans Yokohama tyres.

Thus, I think that some French drivers, like Derlot (winner at Pau), Besson or Gommendy can be considered as favourite. And Derek Hayes, off course, if he drives for LD Autosport at Zandvoort...

They use a differant compound for Zandvoort!
All though, it is the same construction so the french runners may have a small advantage!!
