ptclaus98 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
pt's Wheel thread.

I'm currently looking at a couple of wheels, and I've narrowed it down to:

Logitech DFGT
Thrustmaster RGT Pro Clutch Edition

And from what I have gathered online, the Pros and Cons for each wheel are:

Logitech DFGT
+900 degrees
+quiet, yet strong FFB
+tons of input
+Logitech quality

-flimsy paddles
-buttons instead of paddle shifters
-no clutch
-no clutch paddles

RGT Pro
+clutch
+paddle clutches
+better pedals
+cheaper

-270 degrees
-bad durability

jonboy1066 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
What platform are you looking to race on?

Looking at your choice I reckon PS3 or PC, so why not go for the Fanatec Porsche 911 GT3 RS V2 wheel?

It's more than twice the wheel for less than twice the price and I can't recommend Fanatec wheels enough.

Failing that, I would say from your choices definately go for the DFGT.

If I'm paying 175 bucks, it better come with pedals.

'Fraid not. But for another $50 you get some very good pedals....but still well worth it. Then at a later date you can add a set of ClubSport pedals to your christmas list

Or for $160 you can get a great Fanatec wheel which is basically the same with leather instead of Alcantara rim, and pedals and 6 Speed 'H' Pattern Shifter thrown in:

http://www.fanatec.de/webshop/new_us...820032e2f908b9

With the other wheels you've mentioned you'll get..........a wheel, but you'll also get a hankering for a better wheel at a later date, with the Fanatec you'll get an awesome wheel with the ability to upgrade it with accessories as well as great support and firmware updates that move with the times and the game of the moment.

It may seem like a lot of money as an initial outlay but it's money well spent. IMO

Hello,
I am a very satisfied owner of the Logitech DFGT wheel. You can ask me everything you want to know about it but I can totally recommend it. It's a poor man's G25/G27 . The best feature is IMHO the absolute precise FFB. Those buttons instead of shifting paddles are something you have to get used to but I am totally contented with them now. The only weak point are the pedals, they're really just basic plastic pedals but after almost two years of intensive using they still work very well for me .

I bought the DFGT, and in time, will probably get the cheaper fanatec pedals.
