Ea Sports F1 Manager
Does anyone own Ea Sports F1 Manager. Also is there going to be another, newer version of the game in the not to distant future.

I bought the game and was really enjoying the brilliance of the game when I went to order new engines for the following year it shut down the game. This happened every time i chose this option. I took it back to the store and all their copies were broken just as this one was. Did u have any troubles?

Yes,I had problems but I worked through.I found out you have to go really slow on taking up on options.

I got it too, and I've had the same problem where it quits the whole game without notice. Some other things are a bit dodgy, like the driver saying he's spinning before he's actually spun, anyone else get that?

I got the game when it first came out but took it back because I found it a little tedious, lots of the same stuff to do race after race.

What do you do for engines if you can't buy them because it quits the game ?

I was always quite tempted by F1 Manager. I have GPW but find it a bit tedious and also difficult, probably because I started with Minardi. So I tried Sauber and fared better, almost scoring a superb Alesi win at Austria.
So perhaps when I see F1 Manager in the sales again I'll get it - I could never find any reviews on it so was sceptical but I thought it looked pretty decent. |
