I think that's concrete dust.
I hope there's not going to be red flag on every ten minutes tomorrow. |

We have to wait for "official" starting grid, it seems there are some penalties...

Well there goes my prediction that BMW would walk it... BMW are in real trouble.
Did BMW ever get rid of the extra weight imposed on them after Magny-Cours? |

Why is Zanardi's car getting a weight reduction, because of the extra weight of hand controls? If so, why now, it's already halfway point of the season.

10 places penalty for Colciago (Gene´s incident at Imola), Terting (engine change) and Farfus (Zanardi´s incident at Imola). Top-three for Alfa (Giovanardi-Thompson-Tarquini), then two SEAT (Gené-Rydell) and then Huff with Chevrolet. And just a BMW in top-10...

Very well Rydell 3rd with handicap, and two SEATs on pole for second race.
A nightmare weekend for BMW. |

Colciago gearbox failure...
For race one, my plaudits go to Huff & Garcia. Garcia by far the top BMW, and Huff for scoring the first top 8 finish for the team. |

Congratulations for SEAT, other victory!! and Peter Terting fantastic, who said on ten-tenths he wasn´t a driver for WTCC?
GarcÃ*a very well, he gets 12 points and first season podium. Colciago? incredible race, fantastic driving but i would say that Honda Accord was the best car this weekend. Honda has a car to win races, can it enter officially seeing so good car? |

The 2nd race was one of the best of the season. First the battle between Coronel (who showed again he's the best privateer) and Huff and after that the "flying" Colciago storming to the front. He deserved a podium finish. I am afraid he gets punished for the move against Giovinardi. And last but not least: Great performance of Terting.
Man of the weekend: Colciago I hope the Mexicans can improve the circuit a little bit more (tarmack, gravelzones, remove some brick walls). But it's nice to have a new circuit on the calander which is not a "Tilke designed" boring circuit. BTW I like these races which are in the evening (for Europeans). |
