Appreciate all that, Bob. If they don’t come out of the woodwork, then they certainly cannot complain.....

A reply probably belongs on the ‘next march’ thread!

Anyway, all power to the RHA for doing something, but not for me- unless they offer to pay for the fuel....

Bauble - many thanks for the calendars, I've just got to decide which one to print out.

Do you have a nominated charity/good cause that a few quid may be chucked at as payment in kind?

Maybe you would like an Alfa version, I'm sure I could manage a fair variety for you.

Donation to charity? I do not support any particular one, I have serious doubts about many of them, so if you really want to I leave it up to you. It is a kind thought, God Bless you.

A somewhat belated Happy New Year, guys and gals. Been somewhat under the weather since New Year so only just come on here.....but thanks to Bauble for his excellent work - and for including our car in the calendar - and of course for the great Alfa-only calendar too.....

Have to get some new ink in the printer, methinks

I'm currently parked up myself, in a grey and semi-dark race track paddock. My first proper test of 2019 - really looking forward to it! The rest of the team aren't here yet so time for me to get my head down for a tiny snooze.

Sleak to you all later

Gordon, happy you like the calendar, however, we could always revert to my original idea of 'fully exposed' models sprawled across suitable historic cars!

Any way time for a confession; I am still basking in the glow of the universal praise and approbation for my efforts, and as this has never happened before, normally I am the subject of scorn and common abuse, I intend to milk it to the utmost. However, I must admit that producing these master pieces is ridiculously easy. A simple template for Microsoft Word with pictures of an adorable kitten, requires only a 'right click' on the picture, selection of a suitable image from the computer, 'click', and it is done. The only work required is sourcing the pictures, and as I have a massive archive of images, many of vintage, classic, and historic motor sport from over 11 years of digital photography. Hey presto! Job done.

So if anyone wants a bespoke calendar, (Astons, Fiscar, John?), I will attempt to oblige, or if you send me 12 images of your own I will put one together for you.

I know that all this goodwill will soon evaporate in the new year, so I must make the most of it while it lasts.

Thank you all once again for your kind words they are genuinely appreciated.

Regards,

Bauble aka Michaelangelo.

I now have visions of a Ten-Tenths version of the famous W.I. Calendar Girls calendar where instead of strategically placed cooking implements to preserve our modesty various motor related components would be used instead. Sadly (and it may just be the cold weather) something small like a Mi8ni rotor-arm would be sufficient for me!

Not everyone has that problem, Viv!

As a friend commented. "I'm surprised he has such a big chopper considering how cold it is!"
