Allan McNish driver of the weekend so far
I've been mighty impressed with McNish so far. To wualify so clsoe to Salo who's such a Monaco expert on your first visit is a fine achievement and suggests that maybe tehre is merit to keeping him on.

Yes, it was a good effort by both the Toyota drivers. With the performances of the men in red and white, and the Renault boys, looks like we may have some different teams winning races in years to come...

A great effort, Toyota certainly haven't been the big faiure we all expected and McNish has proven to be deserving of the drive, (Sorry, Monsieur Alesi)

Great effort by Mcnish. I still think he has to do a lot more to hang on to that seat if Heidfeld wants in at Toyota next year..but a couple of more performances like today and who knows....great work by the Toyota team.
BAR,Jordan,Jaguar, etc - should take a look at Toyota and learn....Toyota has just been brilliant this season. And next year - they will be right up with Sauber and possibly Renault as well. Last edited by Mania; 25 May 2002 at 18:00. |

With that performance by Alan, I hope that puts all his doubters to rest. He's been in sensational form all weekend.
Proves that both drivers are on form and that the Toyota is actually a very good car. Points are a definite possibility tomorrow. |

Driver of the weekend for sure - until he decided to label the barriers with Toyota.

Webber, Fisichella, Frentzen and DC were the stars of the Monaco race.
McNish would have been one of the stars, until he smacked the barrier. |
