'low cost' sportscar series

what do you think of this series and this particular car ?

Re: 'low cost' sportscar series

Looks nice, although I wouldn't want to crash in one.
How does this compare to a Radical in terms of performance?

much slower than your average Radical. It's a move on from F750. Trying to keep costs as low as possible. Top speeds should n't be too high and the structure of the cars is well tried and tested. Review also in CCC mag this month, not very good though! Could also buy a F750 chassis and slap a BMW engine in it.

F750 are allowing Fiat Fire engines to be used this year, a very cheap way of going motor racing (probably jsut about on of the chepest actually). And it's on our list of possibilities for next year - something I say every year!

ah thats a pity, they should have reviewed it when they had a car which worked. they all use the same standard engine as far as i know.

I cant see Sports1000 being that cheap as they use slicks and pukka brakes.
