March 813

Hello

Can somebody tell me about March 813

12 cars was build in 1981
Does somebody have a register about that cars :
- drivers in 1981 - 1982
- sérial numbers of the cars
I owned the car with serial number 012 but doesn't know the first driver ?
I also search a picture ( original from 1981-82 ) from a 813 with 812 nose
( like Euroracing cars had) for FIA papers
I'm interest to register all 813 informations....
Thanks for your answers
Dom

In Italy there were for:
-Euroracing Cars (used in '82 to build 2, or 3, Euroracings)
-Ferdinando Cazzaniga (raced in some Italian rounds and Montecarlo)
-Merzario had a couple, modified with a different nosecone, cannot say he bought them new or second-hand, can research when I have time...
-probably Giacomo Vismara had one, second hand, possibly Cazzaniga car

Was this the car Mike White used in the 81 Brit series?

813 -12 was the car of Enzo Coloni, delivered June 1981.
I believe Coloni raced at least three makes of car that season.

Dom,

As Chris says, 813-12 was sold to Enzo Coloni.
If you send me your e-mail address, I will send you a list of the customers to whom the 12 813s were sold.

Only 2 or 3 813s in Britain in that year IIRC. The works/White car, the Kurt Thiim one too, which Colin Bennett may have run ?

i last saw it in bits at roger hursts place 4 years ago as a chassis on a crate no f3 bodywork with it

Theres a guy in France racing an 813 in their historic series, I got an email from him back in 2000 and he knew loads about them (inc Euroracing mods) - maybe have a look at French sites for his name? Sadly I no longer have his email.

I am this guy ! And i sold my 813-12 to Dominique Kieffer. I confirm about Coloni as one of the former owners of "my" car. And about the two euroracing translations of the 813 chassis. Minor changes, indeed, but with various consequences on the capabilities.

In fact, the only guy i know, who perfectly understood the March 813 (in terms of chassis) is Jacques Chevallier, former hillclimbing racer, who owned the 813-12 just before i did. Very good development was made by him, year after year, so i kept him as my personal engineer for the two first seasons of race. And thanks to him and to my team, Parriaux Competition, we had good feeling with my March : for example i won twice the Spa race inside the F3 Classic trophy.

Then i sold the car (its amazing capabilies were highly regarded...) to Dominic Kieffer's team (and i drove the car one season more), but few recurrent reliability problems quickly occured (main reason from my point of view : Jacques Chevalllier was not here to maintain the car in a good status). We did not finished any race, even the first lap of practice !

This is a pity, as the 813-12 is probably the best car in historic F3 euro-challenges... as long as you are able to maintain it in good status. But this is a general purpose in historic racing, isn't it ?

Could you please provide me with a list of March 813?

I am also in need of windshield and rear view mirrows to a 813.

Kind regards,
Dan

again owner of my former March 913-12 !

Hello guys,

Finally i am, again, the happy owner of my former F3 : the 813-12 named Eursoracing 101.

I will race it in the F3Classic french trophy.

At this time the car is under a deep restauration process. I am searching for original Euroracing 101 original pics : i want my car returning back to its original colours : the marlboro body. All i have is a small lateral pic, black and white... Maybe if someone got more detailed (and coloured) pics, i could approach a more precise color restauration.

Thanks
guys!

Hi All,

i just bought a March 813-3 and im very interesting about history of that car. I hope some one of you can help me. Car is exelent condition but not orginal one anymore. Engine is VW 1800 as we had a class in hinland called F4 few years ago. Also covers are changed and radiator are not on the nose anymore. But its under reconstruction now and work is quite easy when starting point is so good.

All information and pictures of that and that kind of cars are very welcome.

Thank you.

March 812 Toyota

I wonder if anyone has any pictures of any March 813 Toyota's as used in the British F3 Championship, in particular Toshio Suzuki's car. Does anyone have the build records from the factory, specifically chassis 818-2?

Any information, pictures etc will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Waik up March 813 man's

Been quiet here.

I still have my 813_3 ex Kurt Thiim but not raced in long time. Just drove for fun sometimes. How about others, do you still competed with your 813's? Where and which class you could race by your March? Here in Finland we dont have suitable class for these ages of the cars. In our "historic" series has carbon fiber Raynards and Dallaras and old chassis stays in Garages.

Cheers,
Teijo Rautio
