My German is really bad, do I read that BoP sheet right that Cup3 Caymans run just approx 293 HP while the full GT4 SP10 ones run 425? That seems like a really big difference, and I thought the 425HP figure for the GT4 was more before restrictor was applied and that in competition it runs in 385HP area.

I was actually just looking for the difference between the two for the last day or two, so thanks Racing Harz for posting that.

The Permit B-Car in the Cup 3 runs with 293 hp, it has a reduced power and is for newbies on the nordschleife. The normal cup 3 car runs with the normal power.

Does anyone know if there will be a Qualifying Race in 2022 and if so when it's planned to run? The date is usually annouced by now.

To answer my own question: 6-8 May, a new 3-day format with 3hr races Sat and Sun.

The awesome thing about this is that it's the same weekend as Spa WEC so I plan to do Nurburgring Fri & Sun and Spa on Sat. Oh happy days !

I’m thinking of camping this year rather than sleeping in the back of my car! I had no problem getting event tickets, but could not see where to buy camping. Is this on the gate only? Thanks!

Yes, certainly out on the Nordschleife. Usually a couple of the areas for camping aren't opened until later in the week too, so there's usually space....also up at the GP circuit is just a huge area so I think always has space.

The BMW race is not historic. It will be driven with the M2 CS. The drivers will be from the last 50 years BMW Motorsport.
Tourenwagen Legends and Youngtimer Trophy (24h Classic) are a fixture on the Schedule.

Sat 1530-2130
Sun 1000-1600
Points for each 6hr as well as total
Cars that drop out on Sat can run on Sun
Restart on Sun will have cars sent out at the same intervals the ended Sat with. The first lap on Sun will be a full-course Code 60 to get everyone out and correctly spaced.

Definitely these tweaks adds a bit of intrigue to the races and it will be good to see drivers retiring on the first day getting a second chance too on the second day

I'm always confused as to how all these 'Qualifying Races' and this single car shootout fits into the grand scheme of the N24, but always entertaining to watch, especially over breakfast.
