Sherwood Johnston in F5000

I am looking for any information on Sherwood Johnston's F5000 race history. He ran a Lola T142 in 1969. His first race appears to be the Continental Divide Race in Colorado on June 8, 1969. Does anyone know who prepared his car? Any knowledge of the color of the car? His early 1950's race history is better documented but there is little information on his F5000 racing. Did he race in 1970 or later? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

He raced a Surtees TS5 in 1970 which unusually had a Ford V8 engine. It was always one of the earliest retirements and after a head gasket blew at Road America, he seems to have given up.

I don't know who prepared his cars but whoever prepared his engines might wish to remain anonymous!

The Seattle 1969 entry list shows Johnston's T142 as white.

Hi, hope this finds you well? A fellow researcher here. Just wondering if you were ever able to find out more about the colour of Sherwood Johnston"s Lola T142? Obviously there is supporting evidence for the body being primarily white. The big question is what colour were the number backgrounds, the numbers and the J&B racing sticker?

Cheers
