Mugello Classic 2023 by Peter Auto
To be held 31 March/ 2 April, Autodromo internazionale del Mugello, Italy.Le circuit est situé au nord est de la ville de Firenze.
Stephens company, Bill and Will, entered the famous 356 in the Fifties Legends grid, car is # 49. Dr Bob and delta, aka Robert Ingram and Iain Rowley, will drive the Marcos 1800 GT # 42. Good luck all, be safe and have fun! Any report welcome of course, Peroni, pasta and pizza for you. |

I guessed it was wet track too. Seemed hard to get a couple of clear laps in, constant yellows at Turn1 presumably mostly spinners who got going again. And a red flag to accompany the two in free practice in the morning.

60s was on a drying track. We were watching from the top of the race block, and there seemed to be a steady stream of spinners at T1. Iain and Dr Bob going well.
50s was on dry track, although oil was on the racing line through the last sector. Car was going well, until I missed a gear…#&@#!! We will check valve clearances in the morning to see if we have got away with it. It is nice not to be constantly leaping out of the way for faster cars though! Hope your over-revving is not fatal for your engine, Will. Depending on how much the tach recorded (if it had time to record anything!) and the valves/pistons clearance I guess. Weather forecast gives some thunderstorms but not during your race. Be safe, be good!
