Priv GT should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Dear All

I hope that someone out there can help me. I am looking for information and details about a circuit in Spain at Almeria or called Almeria.

The only thing about it I know is that the Ducati squad tested there late last year. I think it is fairly new but I am looking for either a web site or a circuit layout map if possible.

Hope someone can help.

Cheers
Adam

I found a little about Almeria. According to Roadracing World magazine it is a brand new circuit, so new there is no timing tower, restroom facilities or even garages as of yet. Just before the teams reported to Valencia for official testing the Ducati Team and Suzuki Alstare team went there for private testing. The track is located between Malaga and Alicante and is very technical with large elevation changes. The techs liked it becasue it tested tires, suspensions and everything to the maximum. The circuit is 4.025 kilometers long (2.4 miles).

The circuit is located near tourist destination Almeria on the Andalusian coast of Spain. Looks like a nice place to go and visit. I could find no reference to the racing circuit as of yet. Possibly one will be available when the circuit is completely constructed.

Hope this helps out.
