Where and how do you get a towing licence? It does not effect me but I feel it is something I should be aware of! Last edited by Peter Mallett; 9 Feb 2011 at 13:08. Reason: Tidied up editing tags. Nick please use the quote button for quoting posts. |

Yes but that isn't the same as making statutes retrospective. Also the answer you gave is what I surmised. Oh God I'm turning into Gordon Brooon.

Usually Porsche 924 eligibility issues. Gawd knows why though.

Sorry Peter (re editing tags) got a bit carried away in all the excitement of the discussion.
BTW what is the answer to the original question of "why the rant about wealthy have it on a plate Mr Motorhome racer?" That is much more juicy than chatting about trailer licences ! |

With ref to Motor homes taking up space I remember one over-budgeted 750MC member, at a time when motor homes in the 750 paddock were a rarity, marking out an enormous area of paddock alongside his trailer so that he was sure to be able to park his motor home on race morning after driving it back from his .... hotel for the weekend.
Watching him trying to thread his way through the scrutineering queue ... "I'm big. Out of my way" ... was something to behold. The same chap was later heard waxing critically about how expensive motor racing was. When the revolution comes .... Comrade Robinson |

Hey this is a fun thread, especially how it has developed. Frankly I could care less were people's money has come from. I'll drink with anyone. As for idoits in the paddock, as said above, that is nothing to do with money, racing, or anything. They are just idiots. |

Going back to the original post, what's the problem with the so called Winni brigade, if they have money because of their parents so what? Unless you are either an arse, sadist or Paul McCartney or even all three we all want to try and help our kids to a better life than we have had.

Remember that there are people who look at you (new or old money, Winni or tent) and think you are an idiot too.

Welcome back Chunder
At least you give us something to write about. Oh, and do pop round for a cuppa if you see us in the paddock, kettles always on. |
