Circuit Hero 500km Race at Zhuhai

Zhuhai International Circuit is now accepting entries for the 500km/3hours race, to be held on 13-14 December. Prototypes, GT cars and touring cars are all accepted. You can find the basic race information in the pdf. It has been held for something like 5 years now and it is always popular with drivers and teams just before they go home and rest for the holidays. |

Two years ago this race had a few GT3 cars and known drivers like Darryl O'Young, Rudolfo Avila, Adderley Fong and Frank Yu. How was it in 2013? It's better not to know. Plausible deniability.

Last year the race was held close to Christmas and coincided with many people's holiday plans. This year there is a little more time before the holidays so it should be better.

The race was won by the #71 Ferrari 458 of Tommy Chan and Xu Wei.
 The D2 Racing #2 Merc SLS AMG led about half the race but failed with apparent brake problems. It never enjoyed more than 15 seconds lead over the Ferrari anyway. |
