Alfa's are quite strong in Germany. There are some very good specialists there too.

One of my near neighbour's keeps whizzing past on a trottinette; I don't think I will ask her if I can borrow it though!

I do remember you could rent one in any big fair. Francfort is a fantastic place for toys… Isn't Milano a replica of Essen now?

Essen is a nice venue, much nicer than the scruffy hole where Retromobile is held. Much of it has been progressively updated in the last year or two.

For Frankfurt, do you mean where the IAA Motor Show was held (it is there no more)? That's enormous, I remember going from one hall to another in a mini-bus!

Milan I have never been. I was planning to go to Alfa's 110th birthday on 24 June but that now clashes with Essen & I guess may not happen anyway.

Get with the times.... now you need a Trottinette Électrique. Some of them are incredibly fast. (and no doubt dangerous)

No relationship with Motors Cup! by HVM.
Seems they hold it like this. If anyone is tempted to join a french grid you'll be warmly welcome. Val de Vienne is a nice track and Nogaro just great. Far from Calais obviously but great! Really.

At least it’s happening. Hope you get a good grid. Some pretty neat tracks in France and although it’s a bit of trek, I’m sure plenty of drivers from Britain will be interested

Only the small issue of 14 days quarantine to consider. I don't think the requirement has been changed to cover France.

Indeed. Things change rather quickly those days. In fact I dont recommend to travel just give some options to race in France for those interested in.

You can avoid the quarantine, Peter...

Arrange an arrive 'n drive deal in France so that you only need personal travel. There are plenty of people criss-crossing the Channel in rubber dinghies - you'll even get an escort service from the French Navy! On your return you will be welcomed with open arms by Border Farce who will willingly by-pass all formalities for you. Job done

I've always liked Jeff Beck, otherwise I might have said that every cloud has a (hi-ho) silver lining......

Test day at Dijon Sat 6 June. No single seaters as said before, the maximum will be 50 cars in total. Interesting too, you can have a talk with the french HTP responsible. Fell free to ask him all the needed informations, no need to go with your car should you apply a french form called PTH here.
Contact here http://www.challenge-gt-tourisme.eu/...-deconfinement, Alain Goupy or through HVM Racing website.
Cant say ATM if there's still room for entrants.

Today, HVM Racing confirms all its dates in France, first meeting will be Albi on 17/19 July. The two Motors Cup, Dijon and Le Mans Bugatti are confirmed too, no change in the dates.

A few new dates appearing:

Alfa Romeo Championship Association have announced that they'll be at Silverstone on the date CSCC should have been there, before being bumped for the (subsequently abandoned) re-arranged WEC meeting - weekend 22/23 August - so I'm guessing that its actually a 750MC event.

CSCC have announced today that they'll be running on the 15/16 August at Snetterton 300

You are right, Andy - and I'd forgotten that we were scheduled for the National, after running the International for the last two years. I doubt that Silverstone could have run 750MC and CSCC on the two circuits the same weekend, if only because of marshalling requirements......
