Oops, I've just realised that I'm already occupied elsewhere - Normandy and UK on the Sunday.
Have fun all of you who can be there - I'll be there on the following Sunday. |

Is admission only open to race ticket holders? That's what i seem to take from the ACO website.
I can't make the race, but would like to get down and see the cars, especially Nissan, at La Sarthe. EDIT: Answer found. Didn't realise this thread was multiple pages. |

Quicker for Nissan to get them back into the garage after they've been returned on a flat-bed?

Looks like it and they have a bit of the scrutineering/parc ferme area too for paddock space?

Well, the Moto gp is off. Let the great show take place. Surprising rising activity on the circuit??

Remember, 10 years ago, it was the last meeting for the old Village. Now, it's modern but sterile |

i liked the old village but over time the easier access and open space of the new one does now seem to have advantages

I loved the old Village. But I've got used to the new one - and the loos are a massive improvement! |

I certainly agree about the loos, although I fear it is a sign of old age when I appreciate a clean loo over the character of the old village. I miss the wooden food stand, the only place I recall with a slightly different food choice. It was also the only place my vege mate managed to get something other than frites in the early 2000s!

Anyone know what parking is open at the circuit over the weekend? I'm guessing Vert.

I love the new arrangements. When I went in 2003 it was barely lit during the night, so you couldn't see where you were going. There was ditches and random bits of barbed wire in places you wouldn't expect. The constant updates to the spectator areas have made Le Mans a far nicer place to be.
Oh, and thank god for nice toilets now. |
