I'm rooting for the Dome-Mugen, it's a long race so who knows? It might just do it.

Beautiful pics. Did you take them yourself?

Those people complaining about the quality of the TV coverage, be thankful. Here in Australia, we get no TV coverage at all.

I went to LM last year, am there this year in spirit.

Was there as well last year and I'm doing it tough. What a race, What a country, anyway RLM is a good alternative. RPM did have some footage of the start so perhaps next week there may be more. The TV rights are apparantly held by Foxsport but apparantly they're not showing anything live.
TWI who own the rights wanted $10000 (US) just for us to take one camera in to the track for our Melbourne only commmunity TV show.
Is it any wonder mainstream TV aren't interested at those prices.
Anyway whatever happens next year we'll be back. (Anybody know where I can sell a Kidney)

So, forty minutes to go - and what a thoroughly entertaining race it's been. Excellent stuff.

Great race, lots of drama. I'd prefer Pescarolo& Aston to win, but congratulation for Audi and all class winners.
And big respect for Kristensen.

I'm glad Corvette managed to sneak the win, they were the underdogs for a lot of people and coming through to beat the 'stronger' Astons is probably a bigger showing of stiff upper lip than the green machines actually winning. Yes, I know, I'm a blasphemer and must be punished.

GT1 really was the race for me, I love the protos more than anything but once Audi got in front and the Dome-Mugen disappeared it really was all over.

Great retirement celebrations for one of the most dominant race cars, Audi R8, winning its last Le Mans.

I'd like to offer my congratulations to ADT Champion Racing, RML, Corvette Racing and Alex Job Racing/BAM, what an effort!

And the Audi R8 goes out on top! The victory-farewell tour continues!

Ditto jhansen....a great showing by the ALMS teams.

Really happy for Champion.

Very curious about what next year will 'look' like.

Amid lots of breaking up and rebuffering I managed to hear at least most of the final 10 minutes. Congratulations to Tom Kristensen and the Champion Audi team and Chevrolet for beating the Fords, sorry Aston Martins. It would be nice to see a bit more competition in GT2 and LMP 2 perhaps the Penske Porsche next year?
Also a big thank you to the Radio Le Mans team for giving all of us in far flung reaches of the globe the chance to be there in spirt at least.

There ws an RLM patch/update posted early in the race which meant there was no breakup whatsoever, at least for me.

Great race, and great result for Champion. A shame Aston Martin fell at the final hurdle, but hey theres always the Spa 24hrs (hopefully) to show that their cars can both finish a 24hr race. All in all one of the better Le Mans 24hrs in recent years. IMO.

Just thought I'd show a quick comparison, Champion covered 370 laps for the win, compared to Goh's 379 laps last year. So the penalty was quite severe. Pescarolo managed to cover 368 laps compared to 361 laps from the previous year. So quite an improvement from them.
