PoloG4tracer should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Trackday Slick/Cutslicks info required.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum section...

Im having trouble to find either slicks (new or used) or cut slicks for my wheel/tyre size.

My tyre size is 185/50/14 for 14"x6" wheels and im currently using yokohama A539s. Im finding it difficult to find manufacturers that do the 185/14 in the 50profile in slicks/cut slicks. As I want these for trackdays.

Can anyone help me out or give me advice on where to get from or know what is avaiable in my tyre size.

Email me direct if needed
Paul@cauldwell2900.fsnet.co.uk

Thanks

Paul

Dunlop were the official tyre supplier to the Super Coupe Cup, so I ghues you should find a retailer of those tyres.

Thanks, I found these sizes for my 14" wheel, but is anyone able to translate the profile size into my 50profile meaning? As I cant have a tyre profile that is bigger than 50 as I'll have massive problems in arch clearance problems, but it can be smaller. Forgive me as I dont yet fully understand motorsport tyre figures yet as opposed to road comparisons.

Diameter Width Tread Width

185/575-14 D105 Slick 557mm(21.9") 193mm(7.6") 186mm(7.3")
optimum rim width= 7.0"

Also a 185/575-14 A8W Slick/Wet(Cutslick??) optimum Rim Width=6.0"

My wheel rim width is 6" so Im assuming I shouldnt really go for the full slick (as it 7" rim optimum) but the other wet one, is that just a cut slick really???

Thanks in advance.

Well I didn't find a tyre that fits after long discussions with Dunlop, So im now using my other 13" BBS 6" rims and using 160/490/13 slicks as used on the G40 SuperCoupeCup cars. Getting the slicks as used and free which is a bonus from one of the competitors.
Means I gotta sell my brand new 14" comp Mo's . Oh well.
