You have to be joking, this is not good at all.
So that's goodbye to our most used site then? |

Several members of the Ten-Tenths staff (including myself) tried to contact the previous owner of this site with the view to offering free hosting or taking on the site on a permanent basis and were unable to make contact.

That's very appriciated MagnetON, it's a shame they didn't get back in touch. I'm very sad to see it go, it was a very handy resource

Oh, that's bad news. I though someone on this forum said there was a new owner of racingcircuits.net. Sad to see the site go.

I offered to buy it repeatedly and recieved no response. Highly irritating as I used the site on a daily basis. May now set up a new site doing exactly the same. Obviously it promotes my books so I have that financial interest.

Am I correct to say that the owner is one Daniel King? If so, I think I have his home address, telephone number, etc.

It was a pretty useful site.....I don't see why he couldn't just have left it.

I believe eTracks hasn't been updated for months either
This is a real blow - I'd find it difficult to edit tracks from now on. Lucky I've already edited loads |

The thing is, though, his subscription with Freeola wasn't expiring until January 2008, if I remember rightly (from the announcement)
But the reasons he gave were that it was becoming more and more difficult to update, which is fair enough |

As far as I know he did find a buyer. Maybe it's a bit early to jump to conclusions - on a positive note perhaps the new owner has taken the site down to restructure it before a relaunch?

You're right about the site being a bit out-dated in terms of design... but the content was very, very good. And that's what matters (mattered?).
