Its not, I checked the subscription preferences and there was no control so I just unsubbed and sent them a message on Twitter.

I think its a bit out of hand now just outright selling their list to their sponsors for completely unrelated things.

Maybe the New Zealand community and potential New Zealand sponsors were a bit jacked-off that their stories slid off the front page so quickly with the flood of Australian categories which don't mean anything to New Zealand (essentially everything not international, rally or V8 Supercar).

There are some things that are notably different. The New Zealand motorsport community is more supportive of their drivers making it overseas than the Australian community is. It's a chance to write stories focussing on peeps like the Hartley brothers, Evans, Dixon, Cunnigham etc

Fair point, but a story from Greg Murphy about Bathurst being a 2 horse race is on the NZ site, not the local one.. How does that work?

I can't remember why I wrote that to be honest.

Might have been something to do with making as many news articles as possible out of one press release, or so it reads.

Bathurst isn't big in New Zealand? Greg Murphy is one of the biggest names in New Zealand motorsport because of his achievements in domestic New Zealand racing?
