N.A-D.R should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Is there any live timing or live stream for qualifying 2?

For live Timing as Valker mentioned there is MST:

http://www.mstworld.com/timing/livet...s=wtcc-support

There seems to be a Red flag now but no idea what happened...

Streaming afaik is not available...

This red flag is going to ruin the session. Guys like Ricciardo, Hartley, Ericsson, Bird haven't even set a proper lap time yet...sucks

Unfortunately Ricciardo hit the tyre barrier on a quick one, i reckon he would of been right up there with the top 3 easily, but that happens. Race tomorrow is going to be exciting.

No, that's Macau!

You don't even have to have an accident yourself; your chances can be spoilt by someone else's accident. It happens every year, so why should this year be any different?

Yep, actually Mortara and Vernay have ideal lap time half a second faster than the rest, but not enough. For tomorrow I think we have quite a large number of favourites!

Tomorrow's race is purely a qualification race ahead of the feature race on Sunday, so in theory several of those drivers who did less well here than expected still have the chance to come through.

I'd say anyone of the top 15 has the chance of finishing on the podium on Sunday. I won't name names, because that would be unkind, but there are some drivers in the bottom six or so who are not doing much except wasting time and money. Still, if they have it to spend, why not?

It's not any different...That's what point i was trying to make. But anyhow it got restarted with no lost time, as i thought it wasn't going to be restarted.

"Perfect lap" combined of the best sector times doesn't tell the whole truth. The best sector may be done when missing breaking in the end of the sector, meaning that the next sector is ruined in any case...

And it's also possible that setups where changed during the qualifying, so the best sectors were clocked with different setups and so on.

One should check all the sector times to see if Mortara and Vernay were really that fast (so if there's for example always a bad 2nd sector after a good 1st sector etc).

Red flag through a Lisboa Bend accident, better pile up, only happens if there is no safe way around the carnage. That happens sometimes, but I think I remember a couple instances when some cars piled up but more or less hung in that straightaway exit so that the field could get past under yellow for the removal.

Interesting line up for the first race. I'm gonna plump for Bottas. His ES campaign perhaps didn't auite go as he would've liked but methinks he will make up for it here.

However if Mortara drives as crazily as he has been in GP2 and FR3.5 this season then there could be a problem with that aim.

Hartley hasn't done well enough. In his position it's two fold. He is either going to massively benefit from any first corner aggro ahead of him or massively suffer.

Well, from what I remember fromthe past few years (way down to etcc days), leading down the way to t1 (lisboa bend; i dont count the kink before) in lap1 is the most unpleasent position of em all. With motorcycles the field is usually sorted before, on 4 wheels it looks different. The safest bet is on the driver who escapes the usual t1 carnage right after start in the leading position. The big question is who that could be. I'll take the outsider bet and say Ericsson. Until Mortara (he is good but a bit too hot blooded too) they are involved in said 1st corner incident with Ericsson escaping it.
My other bet is that Ericsson will be on pole for the GP on Sunday.

By the way, is there any chance to watch either both races, at least the GP somewhere here in good ole europe?

Interesting fact, 16 of this years F1 drivers have raced in the Macau F3 Grand Prix; and none of them won it! Button, Kubica, Trulli and Kovalainen all finished 2nd.

There's a race report here: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/80267

Signature did very well to get three cars in the first five. It looks as the VW engine is the strongest out there, although TOM'S may tweak Ericsson's car for the feature race tomorrow.

Bianchi, Coletti and Hartley are out of contention for the big race win after incidents in this one.

It was an interesting race which was a bit chaotic for the spectator in the end. While the stewards showed the last lap sign under full course yellow, the field was lead into an additional (11th) green flag lap. Other than that it was rather surprising how well the guys behaved
