BRDC SUMMER RACES - 12th JUNE 2005
The BRDC Summer Races at Silverstone on June 12th looks like being a great little meeting.
10 races - mainly historic content, celebrating 40 Years of Clubmans with a demonstration by Derek Bell in a Porsche 956/962. Also a warbird demonstration from a Fiat G46 and a Spitfire. Not to be missed !! The place to be on June 12th is Silverstone - admission only £10 for adults, Children 15 and under Free of Charge. Programmes just £2. depends if James is after competitors or spectators but given this is Historic Racing and this thread is.... historic racing I would have thought he was bang on the money here!!

Not really but hey, its been a few weeks since I was home.
 Actually if we look carefully at James' original post we will observe that he's put the spectator entrance prices in it. Thus it looks very much to me like he wants spectators and drivers to see this. PS. Tickets booked for Goodwood.

Well worth attending..10 good quality races for just £10 on the gate. Get yourself along to Silverstone on June 12th !! |

As James says this has all the ingrdients for a super meeting.
For the Clubmans 40th Anniversary looks like we have in excess of 50 entries split over two races, plus we'll have display cars, memorabilia, goodies for sale and a parade lap(s?) featuring past Clubmans drivers. And even a birthday cake  Will all be located in the garages and main paddock so do all drop by to say hello and sign our guestbook. The races will be for the Haggis Memorial Trophy. Derek Bell will not only be there to demo his Porsche but also as President of the Clubmans Register where he, and other well known figures started their careers. |
