Impressive Sandown for Tander/McConville/GRM
I thought the Tander/McConville/GRM effort at Sandown was very sound indeed. At one stage they looked like they might be a chance for the race!......thoughts anyone.

Yeah, but quite a few Holden teams were complaining about Yellow flags on the weekend!
I mean, was the Johnson/Luff car meant to slow down and stop and give McConville time to get up to speed again?Come on |

GRM did a pretty good job really, they didn't look to have the pace but they were able to keep that car trucking along with the minimum of fuss it appeared.Cam has stated that the enduro's were his target , and GRM have delivered a pretty good package for the big race.
Unfortunatly the second car again slotted into the DNF list, as is the norm |

Agreed they did a reasonable job and Bathurst beckons, but you can bet that good drivers and a racey car will be cocked up by a bad stratergy
Im not saying Im an expert just that GRM over the years have made some calls that has resulted them in losing podium positions |

but well done to GRM (my fav holden team) good to see them competitive again and heres hoping at bathurst they stick it to the red car, so that all the HRT sheep who cheered when skaife past mc conville on the weekend , can have a big cry |

When you think about it, this team and ciombination is overdue for some success, particularly at Bathurst. Very evenly-matched drivers, solid team. Podium chance, possilbly the win. Dark horse?
