Wonder if the Alpine announcement means Kolles will wait a year if at all to transition to LMH. Just run P1 another year.

Could be, I thought something similar in another thread. Perhaps having that first grandfathered car commit will lead to others.

I suppose it depends on how advanced the new car is.

"If we have anything close to the pace we had at Spa, I’ve no doubt that a podium is possible, if she finishes. And I don't know if she will."
Love this comment both overly optimistic and pessimistic simultaneously

I can't believe it will have more starts than Porsche in the WEC, over 2 more years than they really but still. And yet still no classified finish at LM. Here's to going out with something special and less fire.

Are they using the same chassis as now? The front end looks very similar with the high "nose section". Looks good though, im curious to see the other designs.

if they will still keep on using the same updated adess lmp2 derivated carbon tub, it's unlikely "their" hypercar could have that roof shape and proportions since the car shown in that rendering has a much longer wheelbase than a lmp1. It's a thing impossible to achieve without a new tub...

Best of luck to the team tomorrow, and Sunday.
Podium would be good.

Bruno Spengler has not been the best choice made by By Kolles. He damaged the car during the night practice and during the race.
His best lap has been 3:32.654. With the same car, Tom and Oliver best laps were 3:27.680 and 3:29.115
