$50,000 to win road race at Willow Springs!!!!
I just heard that there will be a $50,000 to the winner 200 mile unlimited motorcycle race at Willow Springs Int raceways, in California, in Mid September! I wonder if any British guys are coming? If so, you'll have to beat a bad a$$ named Jeremy Toye! He is one fast SOB!

That was a great race! Pridmore & Graves were never more then 15 seconds apart. Both lead at 1 stage or another. Tommy Hayden on a 600 was fast in qualifying, but couldn't hang on to the 1000s. The top 3 were turning qualifying laps throughout the race! It was over 100 degrees at Willow Springs, btw....
Final Results: 1. Jason Pridmore, Suzuki GSX-R1000, 80 laps, $50,000 2. Chuck Graves, Yamaha YZF-R1/R7, 80 laps, $30,000 3. Vincent Haskovec, Suzuki GSX-R1000, 80 laps, $10,000 4. Tommy Hayden, Kawasaki ZX-6R 636, 79 laps, $5000 5. Jeremy Toye, Suzuki GSX-R750, 79 laps, $4000 |
