As I understand it, if we can sell 100 copies it will not cost the family a penny, and turn a small surplus for charity.
I can't think of a better cause.
Cough up.

I'm sure that sales will pick up as the start of the New Year approaches. Calendars are a popular Christmas present, both for giving & receiving.
(That reminds me, I'd better check my ebay account, my copy of the calendar hasn't arrived yet!)

The intention is to post them our early December when numbers are better known, Viv. Don't panic, don't panic!

Yeah, I'd vaguely wondered about that - in fact got quite excited yesterday when a package arrived but it turned out to be a lot less interesting than the calendar......
Get one (or more) bought, guys!

If sufficient orders aren't raised for costs to be covered (let alone additional charitable contributions) I'd be prepared to forfeit the price of my calendar and for that to be donated to charity instead if the calendars aren't printed.

No worries Viv, all orders will be fulfilled regardless. but that is a very generous offer, maybe I have misjudged you all these years.

Thanks Baub, it just doesn't seem right that this could cost Mikes family if sufficient sales are not made. Hopefully the borders will start flooding in over the next few weeks, if I can thing of anyone who would enjoy a calendar as a Christmas present, I will order more, but with a very limited number of friends that is probably unlikely!
As to my perceived generosity don't worry, it is just a temporary glitch based on potential increase in income as we approach the mince pie season!

Likewise, well said. I'd be very happy to do the same. We can't possibly allow this to actually cost the family money.

The calendar does not seem to be very popular, but as copies will be posted out early December, printing will have to be mid November, so IF you do want one don't leave it too late or you may be disappointed.

As some of you know, Mike asked James Paterson and I to help his family sell his collection of cars. The original intention was to enter them in the auction at Race Retro. However, we understand that this may not be going ahead, so would like anyone who is interested in any of Mike's cars please register their interest with either James Paterson or myself.
Mike's race car collection comprised:
Baby Blue - 1959 Morgan Plus Four FIA
Gilbert - 1965 Gilbern GT FIA
Lairy Canary - 1974 Ford Escort RS1600 Group 2 Appendix J
Delta Formula Ford FF2000 - 1978
MTX Spider Sport Prototype - 1972 FIA
Mike's road cars and bikes:
TEX - 1972 Ford Escort RS1600
RPX - 1974 Ford Escort RS2000
YCC - 1994 Porsche 968 Sport
UJB - 1998 Peugeot 205 Rallye
AVF - 2001 Ducati S4
NHV - 2001 Piaggio Zip 125
There is also a 2012 Brian James RS2 Race Shuttle

I assume you mean calendars, not cars, John, so many thanks for your support, we are now about half way to breaking even.
Cliff, I have copied your post to the Morgan forum, I trust that is OK with you.
Have you ordered you calendar yet?
Cheers,
Bob.
