DSC and SC365 both have articles where Audi Sport confirm their plans to enter LMDH in 2023. Only problem, of course, is that it's 2023. But that's better than their post-Formula E press piece where the LM/IMSA/WEC plans played second fiddle to the Dakar EV/hybrid vehicle plans (which, granted, will come first chronologically).
Audi also confirm that they're aiming for customer and factory programs as well.

I like the way a few entrants are approaching this from the customer team perspective. While it doesn't explicitly limit costs, you probably won't get as many sales if you're exorbitantly pricier than other competitive options.
From an entertainment and racing perspective, the current DPi ruleset seems to have been managed better than the merger days, and so far it seems only the Mazda never actually made a sale. Here's hoping we can continue to refine and evolve with the motorsport and global markets. Lots of these big names talking about customer teams sounds good for grid sizes!

Unless the car has a badge that makes it instantly collectable.

2000mm width sounds good (they never should have narrowed them in the first place in 2013 was it?), however they shouldnt be looking too fondly of F1 and their outrageous bus length F1 cars. Yes, I know you get more aero, yes I know they are more stable, but id rather see wider, shorter cars, you know, like "sportscars".
