Not really any surprises with the P1 finishing order. Although #27 needs to find almost 5 seconds.

Youlden made a mess of the #9 Penrite car in P2 up at Reid Park. Driver error, going too hot too early and understeered into the wall hard. Wont see that car out in P3, and they will be working hard to make P4 tomorrow morning.

A shame. Feel sorry for Reynolds and the team, and hope it can be straightened out enough to make it a decent car again.

Remind me again how many Bathurst wins Premat has, and how many Youlden has?

What a rediculous comment to make. Premat might do a few laps during the year, but they're not in anything close to a V8 supercar. Youlden doing the co driver sessions at [B]all[/B ]the opportunities during the year will bring him up pretty quickly. I'd have Youlden in my car long before I'd ever have the loose cannon French man.

'Front Page news':
Bathurst 1000 guide: McLaughlin’s scary call after Bathurst record

The 'scary call' being Scotty reckons he's got a little more left, even after his 2:03:77 lap record.

Should be interesting to see what the fastest qualifying time ends up being; given less aero is expected for next year.
