The Ugliest cars ever

And now for something completely different.

Ugly cars.

I think both Fortis were ugly,
The Ferrari F92A was also ugly, and underperforming as well...

The Tyrrell P34 6-wheeler was revolutionary, but not beautiful.

Whadda ya think?

Hmmm, I thought the six-wheeler was so bad, it was good! What about the fan car that Niki Lauda drove later in his career - it was quickly banned but can't remember for the life of me the team who built it. Maybe Niki still has it in his garage - the Jaguar people could lift some parts off of it. Couldn't make them slower, could it?

I think it was the Brabham Alfa, was it not?

No, it was definitely the Brabham Alfa as Niki won handily first time out. Had a big honkin' fan pointed straight out the back so it was banned for "safety reasons." The F1rejects.crosswinds.net website has a picture of the monstrosity. Niki is laying under the JagRB3 right now trying to safety-wire the thing on - he is calling it "...an enhancement to the traction control system." Eddie Irvine says this could decide what he does next season...

Nope, JSSC got it right. Brabham BT46 (Lauda won in Sweden '78).

Most Ferrari cars are ugly. The 2000 version very much so.

While people are mentioning lots of great looking cars:

Forti, 1994 Simtek

Think we should go with really ugly cars!

The first AGS, conceived around a four-year old ex-Renault chassis, was very ugly. The wheelbase was as long as a Winnebago motorhome, and the car was painted with longitudinal stripes that made it look even longer (remember the El Charro sponsorship?).

And it was a very bad car too. Miraculously, Roberto Moreno - always him - manage to score an unbelievable 6th place on the 1987 Austrian GP with that electric chair!

The BAR car of 1999 was so ugly with that dual livery with the zip down the middle. And it's performance wasn't any better!

I think the Life was very ugly, and the ATS from I think 1964 was also very ugly.

By the way I think the 6 wheel Tyrells were really good looking.

1996 Ferrari. 1979 Arrows (the cigar on wheels). The Luigi Colani-penned 1972 Eifelland (amazingly, the same guy who penned the first Mazda MX-5/Miata/Eunos).

F1 Rejects did a great write-up on his F1 designs here:

I'm going to have to agree. I don't like that white front wing.

Yeah, I preferred black wings too

But yes, probably those Eifellands are the ugliest cars ever
This cockpit is very horrible!
