heel'n'toe-no has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Testing is available on Friday 27th - Festival day is 28th May. I wrekon Alan Pike might want to play.

I do remember Hutch flying your car an you asking if I had any shots to e-mail to you. Unfortunately I wasn't at Lodge (i think it was).

I believe it was a case of oil on the track (Drivers excuse - no. 1 in my book of excuses)

Testing is £100 for the day (normally starting at 11ish) Race entry is about the same too. I think we're allowed grids up to 26 so if 52 cars enter it's 2 full grids.......(That arithmetic didn't hurt much).....Richard if your reading.....My brain hurts.!

I do hope some of the NW FF1600 drivers can make it. What about Dave Franklin, I wreckon he'd be up for it. With a little push I wreckon you could get an artic full over.
See what you can do and let me know. I'll relay the information to Richard Young for you at the circuit. (Call me on 07979 696440)......I'm going over on Thursday and Friday of this week.(NO ....I'm not testing!!!!!---I'm working)

How can you resist the Guiness? - Give in to your desires, do what I do and tell the missus you'll bring her something nice back and when you get home tell her you almost missed your boat/plane due to delays at the track.

It's worked for me since the start of last season........although I've got to say it... Seamus M. runs a pretty tight ship. I've never missed a flight.

I've asked Ian Sowman to put a piece on the FF1600 website inviting all FF1600 drivers over to the festival. He said he will do it and trhe details should be on by tomorrow.

It's never too early to let your hair down and just do what comes natural......Nice!

Speaking of doing what comes natural, I'm knackered.......out at 7am in the morning
so best be off to bed. Wifes already snoring.......NOT nice!!!!

If you need any help with this contact me on cliff@cliffdempseyracing.com or phone Mob 00353868148811. I am waiting for Irish Ferries to confirm the rates offical, this will happen in the next week or two. We may even be able to supply a Pint or Two !!!

And.....Not to be outdone, Billy Nutt at Nutt Travel (02870351199) can do wondrous things on the Stranraer-Belfast route, not to mention Fleetwood-Belfast and one or two other, lesser-known crossings).
I would love to hear from any UK FF1600 folk interested in coming over. The programme also includes BRDC historic Sports Cars, F.Vee, F.Sheane, sports cars and a Libre race.
If there's any interest out there, you can contact me through 10 tenths or at Kirkistown@aol.com. You can even phone - 02842771325.
And....I think I could be persuaded to do a deal on testing !

You can search Kirkistown via Google and there are a lots of various site with references to the circuit.

You never know - we might even tell you the gear ratios we use there.!!

I've just heard from Mike Edgar that he has entered the MSV round at Oulton later this month. He thinks there's a strong possibility of a large Irish contingent coming over.
I'll be photographer on the day...........personally I can't wait!!!!

Edgar, Wills, Tannahill, Dempsey, Gibson(?), Dunne, Moore, Kestenbaum, Cunningham and the rest.....whew.!
Are you coming Nev????? Maybe even Kris Loane will come???
(WHAT A FIELD!!!!!!!!!!!) I do hope Victor gets his engine in time.

I'm glad I'm not racing in that one.............

Mr. Autosport - I'll be getting shots from EVERYWHERE (call me)

Richard - If there is a large contingent taking the ferry, would it be safe to say the party will start on the boat over????? - not the drivers, of course.

Also Richard, was there no photo's from the fford race last week? None on ff1600 and none in Autosport. I saw a few with the land based equivalent of the hubble space telescope, but not seen any shots.......Have you got any?
