F3000 Title decider: Who will win?
Simple, who will be crowned International F3000 Champion on Saturday afternoon?
I Would love Giorgio Pantano to win because at the beginning of the season it didn't look as if he was going to even have a drive in the series after his Super Nova deal fell through. But being 7 points behind means he really has to win and hope both Enge and Bourdais finish out of the points which is quite a tall order. So bearing that in mind I'm going to say Bourdais. Hopefully if Arrows are still around next year they will snap him up, after all he did impress them during his tests with the team a month or two ago. |

I think Bourdais has swung the advantage back his way . So im gonna go with him , but anything could happen at Monza , should be a good finish to the season .

I want Bourdais to win. No bloke is more deserving! He's more focused than any driver I've ever met! The most talented... got to be Pantano. (IMO)
...but Enge is tough everywhere and Giorgio will be blazing at Monza. I wonder if they'll warn him about short cutting!? |

I still think Pizzonia is the best driver in F3000 this year. It's just a shame Petrobras haven't been able to sort the new chassis out. His team mate Ricardo Sperafico is immensely talented as well and it'd be great to see either in CART or F1 next year.
Hopefully one of them can win Monza to have at least one win this year. Pantano should do well too as he won this race last year and I can see Enge just edging Bourdias for the championship. Should be a good race, although I won't be able to see it as I'll be at Rockingham Last edited by Raven; 11 Sep 2002 at 11:41. |

Pizzonia! ...the best driver?
I agree on his day, with a car set up for him (like every car he's ever won in) he awesome. But this year the Petrobras twins have been left with a new car to sort out and they've struggled, to say the least. Half way through the year, Super Nova was forced to give their set-ups to Sperafico and Antonio and it has made a visible improvement. But, it's too little too late and Bourdais' driving style is quite different to Pizzonia's, so it has only worked as a baseline. Raven, don't go on about Petrobras being the problem... everyone knows they've got the resources. |

I was looking for this earlier and my eyes just went over it! D'oh. I started a (post qualifying) poll too, sorry. Anyway maybe peoples minds have chnged.
Before qualifying I thought that Bourdais would do it, but now I think Enge. Pantano is ahead of them both though. |
