There are conflicting messages on the EERC website. Is the November 22nd round at Brands Hatch or Donington?

Thanks.

I think the 22nd was the original Donington date but was moved forward due to resurfacing work

Matt/Paul, the original venue for the 22nd was Donington, this was moved to Brands for the same date. There is also a race on the 1st at Brands.

I am intrigued by this...

The no. 88 BMW for historic/Boss racer Geoff Farmer and Anthony Dunn??? Could this be THE Anthony Dunn from the late `80s and very early `90s??? I remember him being very successful in Vauxhall Lotus in the early years (`89??) - when Hakkinen, McNish, Coulthard etc were in it.

Any hard-core anoraks out there who can shed any light on this??

I'm sure it's the Anthony Dunn who raced Radicals. He seemed quite young to me, but maybe not! He is definitely very quick.

I`m even more confused now!!

I can`t remember any Radical "Dunn`s"!! Just looked at the radical motorsport website which has a really exhaustive list of their 2003 points-scoring drivers and I can`t find a Dunn!!

Yea, that's cos he was racing in 2001, not sure about other years. Have you looked on google.co.uk for "Anthony Dunn" ?

Maybe he's a ten-tenthser and can tell us who he is!

Ok, checked on the net: http://www.anthonydunn.co.uk
And no, it's not the guy you're thinking of.

Ahhhh!!!!

Just had one of those "Oh NOW I remember!" moments!! I even have a photo somewhere of that white, blue and pink BARC Formula Renault car that`s on the website.

Have just dug out a Brands programme dated 7 May `89 with a picture of Mr Dunn on the fromnt cover driving a Vauxhall Lotus. On turning to the race page though I find out that his name was Gary!!

Elio hangs his head in shame and skulks his way to the nearest corner!!

matt-tentenths is the king of the anoraks!!

PS....

Anyone out there now what became of the one-time successful single-seater driver GARY Dunn???!!!!!

Anthony Dunn The Spun.

A top banana if there ever was one!

Quick, talented, lacking the sponsorship to go as far as his talent could take him. So common in this great country of ours.
We have the ability to breed some of the best drivers in the world, yet toss them aside because we don't back them (or me!).

Any road up, a good combination.

Rob.

FFS, I've been trying to remember Anthony Dunn for two hours now - no wonder I can't!

Isn't Gary Dunn / Swindon Engines? Also has a Jordan F1 for BOSS?

Trust JR to confuse things even further.......... the guy with the Jordan is Gary WARD, and yes, Gary DUNN is Swindon Engines...... now, what did Clive Dunn race?.....

Clive Dunn raced a 1928 Austin butchers van with gun ports in the sides.

Often seen chasing Barrage Baloons near Warmington-on-Sea.

To the tune of "Don't Panic, Don't Panic, they don't like it up 'em"

Not sure the Gannon boy's Integra will be ready for Brands, and as a back-up, Tom seems to be sharing Steve Hirst's Audi, and Will could be in the old-faithful Civic with Richard Gane.

The car, 100%hondafan, is the new-shape Integra R, as used by Mardi Gras in some Britcar races.

Doubt it Matt, certainly not from those already entered.

At least one diesel well under way for next year, though.

Ok, well - will be interesting to see if anyone does next year.

Do you need a National A license or can you race with a National B in Britcar?

Cheers.
