AA’s Rev Limiter podcast is suggesting today that Mr Winterbottom may have a new home at PremiAir in 2025, bringing along perhaps more than a few unhappy-at-T18 sponsors…..
#5 might just come alive… with a brand new ex-Adderton 888 Camaro sitting in wait… |

Presumably he was first told he wasn’t getting renewed in that seat next year?

15 years in Supercars, top 5 series finisher, race winner. Probably never really in top tier equipment, including Erebus Benz.
2nd to John Martin in Formula Ford, in Supercars best series finish of 5th, average series finishing position from 2017-2022 of 11.3. Well liked by sponsors, teammates and competitors - yes I'd say he's quality. Definitely a quiet achiever. The speed he showed in the Blanchard Gen2 Mustang was strong. At 39, having had his poorest series finish in a long time, he'd find some good options for enduro drives, and perhaps like a few others, needs to start planning a career outside motorsport. |

Is Mr Stanaway REALLY the best option PremiAir can find?

I hope Richie can come good. Second year with Ludo maybe good.
Interesting given the rumours of a dowry with Frosty. Could Frosty be off to BRT? Peter is no fool. Maybe Richie was cheap |

It didn’t seem to work at Tickford, at GRM and now at Grove. |

Where does a driver with a dowry go?
BJR of course. Who isn't seated when the music stops? |

It would make them almost the A pilot in that squad.. possibly with an engineer from a former life wandering across the same garage. We shall see |

2025 Calendar has been released - QR's back baby & the Perth street race is confirmed.
Speedcafe says Perth street race won't be until 2026. Obviously one of them is wrong, can't recall what all the releases on the street race said but it takes a good year to design and build one (can take many months simply to manufacture the concrete blocks) so 2026 DOES sound more realistic. Personally I think it's a great shame that the 500 isn't at Sandown whilst it is still there and can be used. With all due respect to the Shahin's and the investment they've made, I reckon that The Bend is a **** track - both on TV and at trackside. It's just as bland as all get-out and is utterly "blah" IMHO. Great shame to spend all that money and end up with something so ordinary. Last edited by Tourer; 3 Oct 2024 at 20:55.
