!!Volunteering 2009!!

Hi all,

It is that time of year again.

I will be operating my volunteering web site again for 2009. Thanks to all those who have used it during 2008, well over 1000 volunteering form were processed. I hope you all found it useful.

I will put a message on this thread when each new form is added.

The first is the Cadwell Training day.

Thanks to Fay, a full events list will also be available.

If you are a Chief Marshal, please send me your dates ASAP.

Please ensure that you only used forms marked 2009, I will try to get them all updated ASAP. There is a small backlog do to my recent holiday.

Moderators - could you please make this a Hot Topic as usual please?

Best wishes for 2009,
Julian

The MSV dates are now on the MSVR website: http://www.msvracing.co.uk/calendar.aspx

This differs from Fay's list - no FPA Brands Hatch August 22/23.

BRSCC Midland Centre volunteering will be up and running as soon as Julian gets a chance. Thanks mate.

Perhaps The Fat Clerk will be able to do his volunteering on Christmas Day again!

I'll also be writing to all Midland Centre regulars - if everything works, I may even be able to give some envelopes out at Mallory on Friday.

The August 22nd & 23rd FPA meeting is on the BARC list. Strange.

...not necessarially, MSVR website only shows MSVR run meetings, BARC will be running two BTCC meetings as well as the FPA and several other meetings. HSCC, 750MC and BRSCC will also be running meetings at Brands Hatch, not shown on MSVR website.

MGCC have a Brands Hatch meeting the weekend of May 30-31; have yet to see CSCC dates. There are a couple of weekends in mid-May that I haven't managed to find out if there are meetings on. SEMSEC date published in Motorsport News a couple of weeks ago clashes with HSCC date in September.

The end of June is likely to be a 'Need for Speed' weekend - games, drifting, Time Attack, etc

First bit of confusion has croped up.

May 2/3/4 Donington Park BRSCC Britcar
May 3/4 Donington Park AMOC

Could be a duel meeting though,

(you might want to have a look at the spelling of CASTLE Coombe Julian )

Yes, I understand that it could be a dual meeting (check your spelling too Dave). The Dutch Supercar Challenge is also on the bill.
