The Lighter Side's co-founder, Delta, has to pop into hospital on monday for a bit of a tweak. All his friends throughout motor racing wish him a very safe stay and speedy recovery.

I'm sure we do Comte,I feel sorry for all of those young Nurse's!

I would have thought a puncture repair outfit would have done the job.

We would know if and when he took leave of his senses if we knew where he kept them.

I trust you had the op without any drugs to show how hard racing drivers are, just have a thought for me having to spend another week in the sun because the flights are all up the creek. I wonder if I can claim loss of earnings from "Sleasyjet" ? I might get back on Tuesday !

I hope all goes better than well on Monday Iain.

If the snow and ice are still hanging around by then Hospital may be the safest place to be.

In that case - what are you worrying about, you wimp - just get the job done with a stanley knife and some tie-wraps!.......

Is that more in the spirit of what you'd expect?

Had a couple of spells in hospital myself in the last 18 months...a wee bit of brain surgery - no, they didn't find any wear on it, its never been used - and a minor nasal op.....and although the NHS bureaucracy is a pain, the operational and caring staff were great. Sure you'll be fine!

That'll never work. You would definitely need some duct tape, probably some WD40 and, I would imagine, a little Loctite. Probably be good to have some Araldite in reserve, just in case.

Some people around the corner from me have built a Jaw's like shark out of the snow and Mk1 Mart also built a full size igloo. Hope you have built Arthur a Mk1 Cortina Joe.
