An elegant solution to a driver change... where the incumbent can get thru the biggest races of the season, then, when the time is right for the team and the sponsor, his replacement (in this case Mr Percat) cam be named.

Just hope that he gets a new chassis for season 2017.. that Bathurst hit looked kinda nasty...

BJR seem to have the common sense to not destablise the team, the sponsor base, the fan base, before the season of endurance...

There is a sponsor clash however, Mr Percat has a personal deal with Morris Finance, while BJR is supported by Summit Finance... presumably this has been magicked already...

Presuming Mr Percat is headed to #8 Team BOC...

Result will remain provisional, until after the appeal. At this point in time, he could technically be considered the winner regardless of all the fanfare for who took home the large cup.

WTF??

Yes the results will remain provisional until the appeal is heard.

However, the provisional results clearly have Tekno as the winners, hence why they took home that large cup you mentioned.

Whincup is most certainly not the provisional winner

She was talking up the benefits of being part of a factory operation. Much as I think PRA build a quicker car, could Nissan be a better bet? Will they offer her B12h drive as well? They would be mad not to

I would have my doubts about the accuracy of that article. Nowhere does she state that PRA or the Kelly's are the favourites, and as far as I know, Wood, for better or worse, is pretty secure in his seat there.

This is funny , here we have a radio station that has a rumor section where people ring up and tell what rumors they have heard or been told.

Today this guy rang up and said that Jamie Whincup will be stood down at the end of this season and replaced by Garth Tander.

The submission of 26 RECs confirms very little at this stage.

There was a time only a few years ago, when RECs were entered, stories were written, yet reality caught up with ambition and we saw a few RECs parked. Some forever.
