This is a Quantum H4. We recently bought one which looks the same as this (same colour
 )Ours was built by the Quantum factory in 1997 from all new parts (they are usually sold as kits, the donor is pictured above (sorry Woody ) )Ours has a 1800i Zetec, electric windows, electric mirrors, half-leather seats (with matching purple trim, very tasteful...) a stainless exhaust and goes quite well. (I'm told the 1600 version does 0-60 in around 8 seconds) It's not a soft-top, it's a two-piece hard top. The top bit fits in the boot while the back window piece drops down on gass-rams into a compartment behind the (not very big) back seat. It's my commuting car and as such needs to be driven up and down a motorway once in a while to clean the injectors out

It's a sequential select auto.
Not a bad compromise, but you loose about 12 kws of the 240 at the fly going to the rear wheels that the manual retains. Goes good though. |
