This is a Quantum H4. We recently bought one which looks the same as this (same colour )
Ours was built by the Quantum factory in 1997 from all new parts (they are usually sold as kits, the donor is pictured above (sorry Woody ) )
Ours has a 1800i Zetec, electric windows, electric mirrors, half-leather seats (with matching purple trim, very tasteful...) a stainless exhaust and goes quite well. (I'm told the 1600 version does 0-60 in around 8 seconds)
It's not a soft-top, it's a two-piece hard top. The top bit fits in the boot while the back window piece drops down on gass-rams into a compartment behind the (not very big) back seat. It's my commuting car and as such needs to be driven up and down a motorway once in a while to clean the injectors out

Now that Hurricane has her new toy, I get to play with the car from which she took her user name, it's a Vincent Hurricane, and now its all mine

Must get hold of a digi camera sometime. And a bucket & sponge.

Woody - that's sick. There's no way the underside of a Ford bonnet should be THAT clean!!!

And mine tends to sit on the road rather than be somehow suspended in a pale blue vacuum...

It's a sequential select auto.

Not a bad compromise, but you loose about 12 kws of the 240 at the fly going to the rear wheels that the manual retains.

Goes good though.
