Put yer glasses back on Andy then you can read it! :-) Is this meeting a two race format, standing or rolling start?

It is a two race format, shorter sprint race then a longer race (probably 7 and 10 laps). Start format will probably be standing, do you have a preference? We try to vary to cater for all tastes. Lydden is a rolling start on August 6th.

I have never done a rolling start apart from when I used to run in Hotrods but always thought the concept had certain advantages espiecally after I totalled some poor guys Rover body shell at Snet when the car in front of him stalled and he pulled straight across my path seconds after I had just released 550 odd horses on a race clutch. I also think at club level it is less strain on components so less likely expensive breakages, yes I for one would like to try a roller start. How about practice/qualifying, do you get the one run out and then 2nd race grid positions decided by first race finish positions?
