I hope this was meant as a joke by the ACO to see what websites copy/paste everything they mention

Certainly a few odd entries on the ACO website .
No names on the Intersport car , no Shorty and as many as 5 drivers mentioned with the Epsilon Courage ..... maybe its just for the test day , but that makes no sense to me ? |

What's going on? Is 1st June the equivalent of April 1st in the province of La Sarthe or have we all gone mad???? I hope the ACO brings some sanity into that list before our nerves collectively collapse....

According to DSC the Icer Brakes Ferrari has pulled out, letting the Seikel Porsche in. While this does potentially add a modicum of spice to GT2 (fast Ferrari vs legion Porsches) it equally raises questions in my mind about the disappearance of the 2nd Creation and Rollcentre. Given that these teams went to all the trouble of acquiring a second chassis and were right at the head of the reserve list is there anything disclosable about the reasons for their falling away?
While I'm pleased for Seikel I can't help wishing that the Icer Brakes withdrawl had opened up the possibility of a fully pro Creation. |

Endurance-info are reporting that Jean-Christophe Boullion has fractured his wrist and will not race.

This withdrawal has come after the cut-off date so, I presume, Creation and Rollcentre found it far too late in the day to get second-car logistics sorted in time for the Race let alone the Test. Both these teams want to do a good job. With two weeks to run before the main event starts, I doubt if even Audi would take up a reserve (if they were to be in that position).
P-Cars are not as straghtforward to run as GTs. The support infrastructure is more complex. It is a shame. If there was more time, I am sure that Creation would have been there. In reality, the ACO has done an excellent job overall with only one (yet) withdrawal...and that one resulting from accident damage at a previous race. The quality of the grid is very good. As much as I would have like to see more protoypes (at the expense of yet more Porsches), I can't really complain. |

I'd say there's a fair likelihood of Montagny shifting to the lead car and a French young gun (or old stager?) being drafted into the number 17; which of course begs the question of who? Does Cochet have any better plans for a couple of weekend's time (he wouldn't have to qualify but would benefit from a run at the test day), equally how about Premat? |

If accident damage from Spa is the reason , they could have withdrawn sooner and given the chance to somebody else , .... Its gisgusting !!!
Somebody is saying Seikel has withdrawn too , so we have a 49 car grid ? |

The list is messed up, and I wouldn't depend on it for much of anything yet.
Check out the factory Corvette Team entry. CORVETTE RACING (USA) LM GT1 (6993A) R.FELLOWS (CAN) H.NUTTALL (GBR) M.PAPIS (ITA) Poor Johnny O'Connell, got dumped for H. Nuttalll..... |
